Our Rabbits

We currently have no house bunnies, the timing just hasn't been right after losing Gizmo. Someday, we hope to have one (or more) again.

Gizmo

Gizmo was our little clown bunny; he was always so happy. We got him from a school project (I wish we could have saved them all). His best pal was Patches (see my cat page). Sadly, at the age of 10+ years old, we lost Gizmo within 3 days of losing Patches, on 5 February 2005. It was a very sad week for us.

Junior

Junior was one of Mama's sons, he had the beautiful coloring of a wild bunny. He was little skittish, but is adorable just the same.

Bunny

Bunny was one of Mama's daughters, she was really skittish and had an attitude! She was a pretty gray bunny.

Molly

Molly was our only pedigreed bunny (born 26 February 1994, passed to the Bridge 5 June 1999), officially a Harlequin. We got her from our vet, who rescued her from a breeder. Molly had broken a leg and it had started to heal backwards, and the breeder didn't notice in time. Our vet had to rebreak the leg to reset it, but you'd never know she had a problem. She could binky with the best!

Mama

Mama was one of three bunnies that we got from a couple of friends. They did not know her sex, and so we had some babies (Junior and Bunny are the last of them), but Mama was a really good mother. She was shy, but loveable.

Buddy

Buddy was a rabbit we got from our summer house, we think he was a wild rabbit. He had the beautiful coloring of a wild rabbit, but was the most loving and affectionate little fellow. His life was short, but he will always be remembered.

Snow

Snow was our courageous bunny, he was a little white dwarf bunny who fought pasteurella abscesses in his jaw for half a year. He survived numerous surgeries and was permanently on Baytril, but never once fought us or complained. He was a very sweet little bunny, and we miss him so.

Sheba

Sheba was our second rabbit, given to us by another friend. She had quite the personality and was a pretty lop, mostly white with a few brown spots.

BunBun

BunBun was our first rabbit, a beautiful large white bunny (probably a New Zealand White). We had her for only a couple of months, rescued from a feed store. She was a loving bunny, and we miss her.

Buck

Buck was one of the three rabbits we got from our friends, he was a small white rabbit, very quiet, and the father of Junior and Bunny.

Old Buck

Old Buck was a beautiful tan bunny, with a quiet personality and beautiful eyes.
